L'ESPES
VARIETIES: SYRAH, GRENACHE
VINIFICATION
Traditional method. Selected grapes from our L'Espes vineyard are macerated for a minimum of 4 weeks and fermented at approximately 28 C to extract the best flavours and important tannins.
The wine matures in tank for between 1 and 2 years before bottling.
TASTING
This wine has a deep red purplish colour and an intense bouquet of red and black fruits (blackcurrants and blackberries).
In the mouth it is generous, full bodied and has well balanced spice and tannins.
This wine was first produced in 1988 and demonstrates well the quality of our Domaine.
ACCOMPANIMENT
Serve at 16 C
This wine accompanies meat cooked in sauces, game and cheese.
